Pillars to Plough 2016

We’re very pleased to offer and opportunity to join our ongoing fundraising efforts  through the Pillars to Plough walk on Sun 29th May organised by  our local supporter, Ifield  Chestnut House. This is a sponsored walk of 1, 5, 10 and 20 miles, so there’s something for everyone. The last mile is wheelchair or pushchair accessible so anyone can join in! All those who enter get a T shirt and a meal at the Plough pub in Ifield at the end – it’s a sociable and fun day out.

The walk can be done individually or in teams and we would like to encourage as many of you to enter, get sponsored for Springboard Project and help us raise as much money as possible.

See  If you nominate Springboard as your charity to support, all monies you raise go directly to us –

Registration forms are available from Springboard House now, so please do consider whether you or someone you know could walk for us. We are also planning a staff team and will be walking with our dogs, so if you’re not able to do the walk yourself, you could sponsor our dogs!

Please do let us know if you would like more details, a registration form or some encouragement to walk!

Wings Mobility

We are very pleased that Wings Mobility of Crawley ( has decided to put their support behind the Springboard Project. Wings Mobility supply a wide range of mobility equipment and share our ethos of enabling disabled people to maximise what they can do and reducing barriers to doing the most they can take part in! Crawley  Mayor Chris Cheshire introduced us as she recognised our links. We are grateful for the support they are offering us and look forward to a productive working relationship.

The Mayor of Crawley, Chris Cheshire, will be doing a skydive to raise money for The Springboard Project and Crawley Community and Voluntary Service. Read more about it here:
