If you are
considering holding a birthday party in Springboard House, here are some useful
Q&A's:
| 1. When can a party be
booked for? | Most afternoons on Saturday or Sunday from
2.30pm to 5.30pm. However, dates do get taken very quickly, so we suggest booking
well in advance to avoid disappointment.
| 2. What faculties are there? |
You have use of the kitchen, lounge, Jubilee Leisure Garden and Adventure
room. There are three toilets, one with changing facilities.
| 3. What about the Sensory
Room? | This is NOT normally hired out due to the specialist
equipment, but if there are any children attending with special needs, this can
be arranged by special request.
| 4. How much does a party
cost? | All bookings are for three hours
allowing half an hour to set up, two hours for the party and half an hour to clear
away and clean up.
Members are charged £60 for Saturdays and £75 for
Sundays.
Non-members are charged £75 Saturdays and £100 for Sundays.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required when the booking is made and the balance
paid on the day of the party.

HAS BEEN PAID.
| 5. Can I use items from
the Toy Library and garage? | Yes you can. When you arrive,
a member of staff will open both the Toy Library and garage so you can choose
toys for your party. For safety reasons, both will need to be locked during the
party.A member of staff will show you the fire exits and fire assembly points
on arrival. They will also cover security procedures and leave a signing-in sheet
for you to complete. As the office will be locked for safety, PLEASE BRING A MOBILE
PHONE for any emergencies. When all the guests have arrived, please drop the latch
on the front door to avoid intruders.
| 7. What happens after the
party? | We ask you to clear up after the party. A vacuum
cleaner will be made available and we ask that you take your own rubbish away.
Bin liners are available on request. Please make sure all windows and doors are
closed with all lights and power points turned off. Please drop the front door
latch when leaving. A member of staff will lock the premises after you have left.Please read the safety notices and information on the party booking
confirmation carefully. If there are any breakages or damage, this must be reported.
