Volunteer with us!
“Why do I love the Springboard Project … because its so much FUN!! The place has a lovely sense of community, with staff and volunteers who are always friendly and welcoming. The children really enjoy the wide variety of activities on offer. I LOVE BEING A VOLUNTEER!”
There are plenty of volunteering opportunities with Springboard Project. We run short break activities for children and young people with additional needs aged 0-18 years in Horsham, Crawley, Worthing and Sutton.
If you are an understanding and caring individual who enjoys socialising and participating in fun activities, and if you are keen to help young people with additional needs learn valuable life skills that will encourage their independence then why not come along and give it a go?
Volunteers are asked to encourage the children and young people to participate in the activities on offer and support them. These include tasks such as ordering their own meal or drinks at a restaurant, paying for an ice-cream and receiving change; all valuable life and social skills aimed at developing and promoting independence and confidence.
If you decide that you would like to come along and help us by volunteering some of your spare time, we as staff at The Springboard Project will be there to help and support you every step of the way.
